Enjoy a day full of cultural learning, taste some amazing Bahamian dishes and get to know the people on the island a whole lot better. Start off with a tour around Nassau. See the town as a local, find all of the little gems scattered across the streets of Nassau.
Once your tour is over, you have the choice to either proceed to a cooking lesson or a craft lesson. Choosing the cooking lesson, you will learn to make a traditional Bahamian meal. Bahamians love to fry foods such as Conch, fish and plantain.
Alternatively, you can choose to create a Junkanoo costume, made from cardboard and crepe paper, which the locals wear on New Year’s day at the Junkanoo Parade in Freepoint. Whichever of the activities you choose, you are sure to leave feeling more like a local Bahamian than ever before.
